Asking for directions

A1 · Beginner · ≈ 15 min

Asking for directions is easy — understanding the answer is harder. It often comes quickly, as a whole chunk: rechtdoor, dan de tweede straat links. Here, we'll break down the same answer into parts, so your ear can get used to the word order.

  1. Where is the person going?
  2. How many turns are in the route?
  3. Is it far to walk?
