Werkzaamheden Hoofdstraat: 6 t/m 31 oktober

Van maandag 6 oktober tot en met vrijdag 31 oktober wordt de Hoofdstraat in Amersfoort opengebroken. Er worden nieuwe waterleidingen gelegd en het asfalt wordt daarna vervangen. Het werk gebeurt in twee fasen, zodat niet de hele straat tegelijk dicht is.

In fase 1 (6 t/m 17 oktober) is het gedeelte tussen de kerk en het gemeentehuis afgesloten voor autoverkeer. In fase 2 (20 t/m 31 oktober) volgt het stuk richting het station. Fietsers en voetgangers kunnen er in beide fasen langs.

Buslijn 1 rijdt tijdens de werkzaamheden om via de Kerkstraat. De haltes Kerkplein en Bibliotheek vervallen; reizigers kunnen gebruikmaken van de tijdelijke halte bij de sportzaal.

Woont u aan de Hoofdstraat? Zet uw container op de dag van ophalen vóór 7.00 uur op de hoek van de zijstraat. De vuilniswagen kan het afgesloten deel namelijk niet in.

Winkels en de huisartsenpraktijk blijven gewoon open en zijn te voet bereikbaar. De aannemer plaatst borden met looproutes.

From Monday 6 October up to and including Friday 31 October, Hoofdstraat in Amersfoort will be dug up. A new water pipe will be laid, and then the asphalt will be replaced. The works will be carried out in two phases so that the entire street is not closed at the same time.

In the first phase (6–17 October), the section between the church and the town hall is closed to cars. In the second phase (20–31 October), the section towards the station is closed. Cyclists and pedestrians can pass through in both phases.

Bus line 1 will be diverted via Kerkstraat during the works. The Kerkplein and Bibliotheek stops will be cancelled; you can use the temporary stop at the gym.

Do you live on Hoofdstraat? On collection day, place your bin at the corner of the side street by 7:00 AM: the rubbish truck will not be able to enter the closed section.

Shops and the GP practice are open as usual and are accessible on foot. The contractor will put up signs for pedestrian routes.
