Een pakketje bij de buren

A parcel at the neighbours'

A2 · Elementary · ≈ 16 min

It's a common story: you weren't home, the courier left your parcel with a neighbour and put a note through your letterbox. Now you need to figure out who has it, go and pick it up. It's a short conversation, but with a twist: the neighbour asks for a favour in return.

  1. Who has the parcel?
  2. When did the neighbour receive it?
  3. What do they ask for in return?

Gesprek — Even aanbellen

Evening, the neighbour opens the door.

Zou jij … kunnen? is the politest way to ask a favour of a neighbour. A direct Kun je …? is also fine, but zou sounds softer and less demanding.
